Viennese start-up Pixofarm reaps the Born Global Champion Award 2022

The success for the Viennese start-up Pixofarm does not stop in 2022. Just this week, the young company was awarded the Born Global Champion 2022 award by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce and AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT Austria for its international achievements at the Export Day 2022. The Born Global Champion Award is given to start-ups that already have an international orientation in their early stages. The award was presented by Chamber of Commerce President Harald Mahrer and Deputy Secretary General Mag. Mariana Kühnel.

"We are very proud of our team. In the last few months, we have put a lot of heart and soul into our company and our app in order to help our customers in over 20 countries to have a more profitable season. It's been an exciting journey to get here, and we're excited to see where it takes us next!" enthuses Farid Edrisian, CEO and co-founder of Pixofarm.

From the beginning, Pixofarm's goal was to support fruit farmers worldwide with artificial intelligence and to make yield estimation more accurate and efficient. With this information, farmers can regulate various measures such as the use of fertilisers or irrigation during the season and get the most out of their fruit production. Other logistical measures can also be planned in a resource-saving way weeks before the harvest. The numerous advantages and possibilities of the Pixofarm app are clearly demonstrated by the start-up's returning customers in more than 20 countries worldwide.
